About Day Programs
The Victoria Clinic’s Centre for Health & Emotional Wellbeing is a private mental health outpatient service that provides an opportunity for anyone to receive help for a broad range of emotional or mental health conditions.
Weekly group sessions incorporate the latest evidence based educational and therapeutic practices in a welcoming and supportive environment.
Our primary focus is helping you to take the first step, and then supporting you to develop the strategies you need to achieve your goals. Our broad range of evidence-based psycho-educational and therapeutic groups exist to help you learn and grow in your recovery.
Our Day Programs offer mental health services that:
- Treat adults suffering from complex mental health issues, including mood and anxiety disorders, chronic psychiatric problems, complex trauma and personality disorders.
- Work in collaboration with psychiatrists, general practitioners and other mental health service providers in managing patient psychiatric care.
- Provide a comprehensive psychological assessment to determine suitability for admission and establish appropriate treatment goals.
Group sessions form the foundation for all psychotherapy in the Day Programs. Group therapy allows you to take part in sessions aimed at building upon your strengths and capabilities, while you connect with and support other group participants. The group setting provides a safe environment in which to practice skills you can apply later in your own life and relationships. Group sessions therefore provide a powerful opportunity to further your recovery and self-growth, all paving the way for positive change.
