The Victoria Clinic
The Victoria Clinic is located in Prahran and has recently expanded to 115 single room patient-beds offering a range of mental health care services.
The Victoria Clinic is dedicated to providing comprehensive care to individuals experiencing mental illness, psychological distress or dependency issues. We offer bother inpatient and outpatient services. Our multidisciplinary team includes skilled and experienced Art Therapist, Dietician, Exercise Physiologist, Neuropsychologist, Occupational Therapists, Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Registered Nurses and Social Workers. Our Team is dedicated to providing quality.
We are seeking individuals who are organised, proactive, resourceful, motivated, compassionate and resilient to join our Graduate Nurse Program. If this resonates with you, then the opportunity to be part of The Victoria Clinic’s Graduate Nurse Program should not be missed.
The program requires participants to complete and submit the following tasks throughout the year:
- 11 Clinical Competencies
- 2 Written Assignments
- 1 Oral Presentation
- 1 Exam
Shift load/Contracted hours:
The expected rostered hours for Graduate Nurse’s at The Victoria Clinic are 0.8 fortnightly, eight total shifts per fortnight.

After your graduate year
Our leadership teams are committed to growing our workforce capability and around 98% of our graduate nurses continue their career with us.
We offer individually designed career development after the Graduate Program.
A further two years of extensive professional development opportunities are supported by a financial scholarship for every graduate who joins our program.
Our national network of hospitals provides the chance for you to work interstate, in a variety of sub-acute, acute and mental health facilities.
Our Executive Teams collaboratively support staff movement across hospitals and states to encourage ongoing development and experience.
Australian Applicants
We welcome applications from enrolled and registered nurses who are approaching graduation or recently graduated, and are Australian Permanent Residents or hold Australian/New Zealand Citizenship. Before you can commence work, and therefore your graduate program, you will require registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
